March 2003
Amy Siano, Art Director at Power Design
was selected for the second year in a row to judge the ADDY Awards
Competition held March 6, 2003 in Harrisburg, PA. It is the first
of a three tiered national competition conducted annually by the
American Advertising Federation (AAF). The ADDY Awards Competition
is the industry's largest and most representative competition
for creative excellence.
There is a strong base of creative talent in central PA and the
Ad Club members wanted to be judged with a higher standard than
in the past. So this year, the Ad Club recruited judges from several
markets including Louisville, Boston, Kansas City, Philadelphia,
and from agencies whose work has been published nationally and/or
internationally.
"As judges we were very critical, but the winners go on to
compete at a national level and I feel that the work we selected
will have no problem competing with the larger markets,"
Siano says.
As Art Director for Power Design, Siano has designed, developed
and art directed award-winning projects for clients such as PBS,
The University of Pennsylvania, Comcast, Comedy Central, ABC,
E! Online and Oxygen Media.
Founded in 1994, Power Design is an award-winning, graphic design
