Online Advertising “Cute & Clever” says Advertising Age

In the March 16th edition of Advertising Age magazine, Matt Carmichael of CyberCritique reviewed the latest ad campaign for Electric Library and said the ads were “cute and clever…” The new campaign uses current event copy to entice consumers to explore the Electric Library archive. One reads, “Explore the Titanic without getting wet.” Another reads, “Explore the White House without…well…you know.” The ads are focused on getting attention over branding. In a sea of mostly boring online ads this campaign was noticed by Ad Age.
