AAVSPower Design Launches Site for the American Anti-Vivisection Society

Client: American Anti-Vivisection Society

Project: www.aavs.org

Audience: Public, Students, Educators, Researchers, Scientists, Activists, and Government Officials.

Goal: To educate, provide resources, solicit memberships, sell merchandise and raise money.

Challenges: Provide a serious and sophisticated site that does not offend or scare potential members/contributors.

Solution: By combining compelling statistics and non-graphic animal photography the flash introduction presents the mission of the Society prior to entering the homepage. The homepage utilizes earth tones and serves as a welcoming portal for news and information. Large images of animals are somber vs. disturbing.

Skill Sets: Creative concepts, Design, Design Direction, Programming, Project Managing.
