PBS Frontier House Interstitial Featured in Print Magazine

Working directly with PBS’ Advertising and Creative Services the ad was developed as part of a campaign promoting the launch of the new reality show FRONTIER HOUSE. The challenge was to develop a campaign that would break through stereotypes and reinvigorate the PBS brand.
The tone of the show was intense, raw, funny, and shocking, so we developed the creative based on copy that played on the juxtaposition of modern conveniences and their 19thC equivalent. The interstitial format and the use of Flash technology allowed us to create a fun, interactive ad that both engaged the user and achieved the marketing objectives.
